Okay, my name is Helen and I am an alcoholic.

Thank you, Mal, I'm going to sit on nervous because I am.

Thank you so much for asking me, it's a pleasure and an honour.

I don't share that often as main shares so bear with me.

Okay, yeah, I'm an alcoholic and it's just a little bit to see so many people here that I know

and new friends as well.

Oh, you know, on this meeting tonight which is an absolute joy is my youngest sister who

it's just amazing, she'll go into my story in a little while but it's just so beautiful

that she's here and she's actually celebrating four months today which is just, you know,

it blows me away.

Right, where to start, I'm not really going to go into a drunker log in my share because we all

drank differently, different amounts, different ways, you know, however,

what I'd like to try and start with is how I was before I started drinking and how it was when

I was and it's really for me, it was more about the feelings and not understanding what was wrong

with me. I actually took my first drink at the age of 13 out with my dad, I was family,

drinkers, not so much in the home at that time but drinkers, or we always went out with

dad and whatever and it was very much, I was that child, there's no drama really in my story,
