You guys have a death wish when you put the clock behind the speaker's head.

So my experience with most of the holics is they don't know when to shut up and first I

never talked before I quit drinking.

It's just something new that came over me since I sobered up.

I understand about talking at AA meetings.

The trouble I had was listening at AA meetings but my sponsor informed me that and if you're

a talker I give this to you that if I would just listen to what I said to other people

about how they ought to live their lives and work their programs and try to do just half

of it myself I would probably survive and so far it's worked just standing.

I would say that the greatest gift to my sobriety has been probably the greatest defect

in my character and that is thinking that I could run other people's lives better

than they could and that's called sponsorship.

When I was when I was new in alcoholics anonymous I was not involved in alcoholics anonymous

other than the big books, the steps and I had a sponsor that I would call and I called

her maybe six eight times the first year and I called her when my back was to the wall.

I called her when two things happened in my life the first thing that would happen would

be before I call Mary I should figure out what's wrong with me so that I can tell her and
