My name is Gory and I'm a grateful recovery now,

I'm so over today for the grace of God in this wonderful fellowship.

I'm sobriety date's 11th of April, 1977 and for that I'm very very grateful. And thank you for the nice and the

kind words as you led me in Janus. It's always good to make it fuss with people and be thankful and show our gratitude and I owe this

program, I owe this fellowship a lot, because this program saved my life and I can never ever

reiterate that enough that saved my life and that is you know? And that is, you know, absolutely true.

When I came into these rooms and I fell in the door, I virtually fell in the door, I was in such a mess.

I had 13 warrants for my arrest and

and coppers were after me, other people were after me for their money, and a double bankruptcy.

And all I was drinking my life away.

Living to drink and drinking to live. It was just like a broken record. I couldn't

do a damn thing about it. But when the time was right, when I got so far down that there was nowhere else to go but up, I cried out for help.

But that's a long story. I might go back to the start.
