My name is E-Lawr, recovered alcoholic.

I've been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1991.

I've been cleaning silver since June 4th of the year 2000, just kind of give you an ideal

kind of alcoholic I am.

I just like to start off by saying thank you for everyone who had any heart in my invitation

to come out here to share my experience, this means a lot to me.

This is a privilege for me, this is an honor to be able to go somewhere because someone

asked me to and share my experience.

A lot of people this weekend that I'm meeting for the very first time.

I don't know if it's this town, this city, this state, or this conference, but there's

a lot of love that I've experienced just in the last two days.

I feel welcome, I feel invited, I feel a part of, and I've never been here before in my

life.

So thank you for that.

Being a chronic alcoholic isn't something I would wish on anyone, it's something that

for me, I battled with for a long time to really understand what it is that's wrong

with me and what it is that I must participate in in order to get well in order to recover.
