Nice looking crew actually, a lot of young people here, you know, I've been speaking

in an alcoholic's anonymous drunken sober for 34 years and it becomes disconcerting to

see as many young people as there are.

I was a meeting just a little while back and I mentioned to the person I was with, I've

never seen a meeting so filled with young people and they reply quite accurately, that isn't

the problem, you've just never been this old before.

See, that's one of the problems with staying sober is that you tend to age whereas if

you drink it, probably that won't happen to you.

But it does happen, certain disadvantages, I was identified as a speaker there and one

of the young women at the next table back there, I heard her say, what's that old goat possibly

going to say to help us, fast bicycle riding a love affair would kill him and that's not

really true.
