Hi, I'm Debbie, I'm an alcoholic. How many things? Becky, and Jack, and Mark, and it's

friend Sue, everybody for making me feel welcome, and for the honor of being able to come here

and share with you guys tonight. I love alcoholic synonymous, and if you're new to the program,

welcome home. I hope you find what I found in this program, and it's given me a purpose,

and it's given me peace of mind, and it enabled me to find a power greater than myself

that I'll solve my problems, and meetings to go to when I forget. I never felt like

I fit in my whole life. I'm one of five kids, and I grew up back in Ohio, and there was

a lot of alcoholism in my family tree, but I don't blame my alcoholism on my parents,

grandparents, or anybody else. I love in the big book where it talks about we drink because

we like the effect produced from alcohol, and it's like, I loved it. I loved it ever

since I was a little kid, and I was always kind of worshiping my dad. I love my dad.

He was my higher power when I was a little kid, and I looked up to him, and I would follow

him around, and on the weekends, he would do some projects, and so one Saturday we were

working in the basement, and there was a pool table in a bedroom, and I didn't know what

we were doing, but I'd hand in him tools, and what he was doing was drilling a hole

on the side of the spare refrigerator to put a kick. I love my dad. But anyway, I was a

nice way to be able to help yourself to alcohol as a teenager, and actually before I was

a teenager, but I would always steal alcohol from my parents, and then when I got to be
