Hi everybody, my name is Debbie Geech and I'm an alcoholic.

Hey everybody and I'm really glad to be here and I want to thank the committee for inviting me and making this such a pleasant event.

We've really had a great time here and I want to welcome you if you are new to Alcoholics NAM.

It's great to see a lot of people in their first year of sobriety and I want to welcome you.

And I certainly want to welcome all those who have come before me and who are here to continue to carry the message to me and many others.

And if you are new, I want to tell you the three most important things in my life, which have made it possible for me to stay sober one day at a time for a period, long period of time, because I've tried it without these three things and I didn't stay sober and

with them I have so it's like I know what doesn't what doesn't work I don't have to keep experimenting

with that and that is a sobriety day to Home Group and a sponsor. We have the

triangle and Alcoholics Anonymous of Recovery, Unity and Service and I try and apply that in my life.

And in addition to that, for me, is service and I try and apply that in my life.

And in addition to that, for me, is this triangle of recovery, a sobriety data home group, and a sponsor.

And to tell you just a little bit about each one of those, my sobriety date is February

the 8th, 1976, which means I've been sober over 27 years.

Now that's not to, I'm so grateful I got sober in a time when there was

alcohol synonymous around and I was never told ever I was too young to be an alcoholic.
