My name is Cindy.

I'm a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Here I thought I was the only one who had to listen to myself non-stop.

It's nice to have a partner.

I introduce myself as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for a number of reasons.

First of all, because my sponsor suggested it about four and a half years ago, and he suggested

it because it says to introduce yourself that way in the book, Alcoholics Anonymous on

Page FII, if that's how you say it in Roman numerals.

He believed, and I have come to believe, that it is a way to acknowledge my increasing

health after ten years of acknowledging my increasing disease.

I feel best today about my membership in this program, in anything else in my life, and

that's the most important reason that I want to share with you what sobriety is like for

me.

I misled myself a lot in the early days of my sobriety.

I hear things in a strange way, and when you said to me, if you'll quit drinking things
