I'm just grateful that I'm back in the middle of it instead of out on the periphery.

I do have a sobriety date, November 19th of 1986.

I was 18 years old when I got sober.

I do have a sponsor that has not always been the case and I'll talk about that a little

And my home group changed a number of years ago to the fellowship group in Huntsville,

And I'm very pleased and grateful to be a part of that group.

It does a tremendous amount of service and focuses on the primary purpose of AA of carrying

the message to this still suffering alcoholic and I'm really pleased to be a part of that.
