I want to take this opportunity to thank the committee and all you wonderful people for

align me the privilege to be back down here with you again. It's a great privilege. I just love these conventions. Right here was the

first convention I ever attended in my life. I think this was back in 76. And I'm grateful that I can be on the program today.

I think it's only fair to tell you in the very beginning that I'm just a little bit old

fashion and I'm kind of a country-fied now.

And the only reason I share that with you is you never would have noted if hadn't

told you.

Anytime I'm in a crowd this big, I often wonder if they might be somebody here that knew me

...
