Thanks for having me. My name is Chandra. I'm an alcoholic. I'm sober today by the grace of God,

whom I found in the 12 steps of our colleagues anonymous. My sobriety date is somewhere between

the 7th of July and the 8th of July 2010. I just don't remember. I was fallen on a road somewhere

before somebody. My family reached out to me. They picked me up, and I was put into

a rehabilitation centre, and so I'm hitting my 10th year now, and life is good.

My home group is the Holy Family Group in Nandheri, which is a suburb of Mumbai,

which is on the west coast of India. I have a sponsor. My sponsor's name is Raju. He has a

sponsor. His sponsor's name is, he just expired, late-registered, and we can trace up our chain

to our sponsors and our grand sponsors, and so on and so forth. I've done step one to nine

to the best of my ability after I came out of rehab with my sponsor. I try and stay in step 10

and 11, and every weekend I try and work the steps with my sponsor and sponsor trying to practice

step 12, and I'm available for a service as the work demands. So I'm really happy to be here,

and you know, share an English back home. We've got all Hindi meetings. So if I do break into

Hindi, suddenly just let me know that I'm speaking Hindi so that I can switch back into English.

The natural progression for me here is in an AME thing. The other thing is that if I suddenly

blank out, I just might take 30 seconds or so to just blank back in. We have weak Wi-Fi networks
