My name is Bruce, and I'm an alcoholic.

I'm from Nebraska City, it's a little town of about 8,000 and AA and a town of 8,000

is a lot different, believe it or not.

And I'm really glad to be here about 75 people have asked me in the last three days if I'm

nervous.

And I'm really not all that nervous if you want to know the truth, the committee's nervous.

Think about it.

They took your money, paid for my plane ticket, my hotel room, my meals, so the other ones

that are really wondering if this whole thing is going to work out.

It's really an order of my idea of it working out would be that somehow between now and

the time this ends is that we're successful at communicating.

And the problem with that is that I grew up on ranches in Western Nebraska riding horses

and listening to Jimmy Hendrix.

It's possible that we may see things differently.

It's like the alcoholic cowboy, both of which are not good for communications, who

is the doctor and said, doctor, my wife and I've been talking and we've decided that

I should be castrated.
