I always like rats from a syncing ship of gear. Everybody fails after they read.

I'm alone again.

My name is Beth. I'm an alcoholic.

Because the grace of God fell ship in steps of AA and sponsor ship I've been service since June 26, 1988.

And that's America because 10 days was a long time for somebody like me and 10 days was a really long time for you.

If you were anywhere near me when I was doing 10 days.

That was a little edgy.

And usually by the end of a week somebody would be saying, why don't you just have a beer, Beth?

It's not really drinking. It's just beer.

I want to thank the committee for inviting me to speak. It's always an honor and a privilege to be asked to participate in alcoholics and the committee has done a great job this weekend.

It's been a really nice weekend.

And I always want to thank the tapers. I have to do full disclosure here.

I used to be a taper. So they have a special place in my heart.

But you know, I mean, you know, if you've ever told somebody a story and heard it three people down the line that it doesn't resemble what it started.

And you know, these guys really carry our history.

They carry our history.

They perform a valuable service.

And you know, it's already been said this weekend.
