Folks, this case has entered day number 10.

And if this was easy, no doubt they would have him already. The resources that are

assigned to this one escaped inmate are incredible. When you think of the cost, not just in financial

terms, but in human terms, it's pretty outrageous.

And that's why you can understand when someone escapes from a correctional facility,

why it sort of shuts the whole area down.

And is there a cost?

How do you put that in an dollar and cents cost and just also the stress that it puts on a community?

It's just incredible.

And the fact that this little fella here, Danilo Cavalcante with his little sad face on the screen,

let's hope his face gets sad or when he gets caught.

He caused this, you know, convicted of a murder and sentenced to life without parole.

He takes the chance.

And apparently the facility that he escaped from is more of a jail, not a prison.

And I was somewhat amazed when they were able to,

when they had an escaped prisoner on May 19th of 2023,

and Danilo Calvacanti escaped in the same exact fashion as the escaped prisoner in May.

Why had they not corrected that?
