we're going to bring you a special treat. William Conrad was a fantastic actor who contributed so

much to the Golden Age of Radio as a narrator, as a character actor. Often his roles were functional.

Frequently, he just played the heavy, but sometimes he got really rich parts, as we heard,

you know, if you were with us when we played, not be to few years back. There aren't a

whole lot of roles in the Detectives genre. Obviously, he had the starring role in Gunsmoke

over Radio, but it was rare to hear him starring in just a normal mystery. And that's part of the

reason why I chose this is our 3450th episode. Special. This one is an episode of Escape.
