Hello and welcome to escape pod, the weekly science fiction podcast. I'm Merlaafrey, this

week's host. Our story this week is migratory patterns of the modern American skyscraper by Derek

Bowden. This story was first published by Clarks World in July 2022. Derek Bowden's fiction

appears in numerous venues, including daily science fiction, flash fiction online, and compelling

science fiction. He is a writer, a software developer, an adventurer, a proud graduate of

Clearing and West Class of 2019. Currently called Boston his home, although he's lived

in 14 cities spanning four continents. He is owned by two cats and one iron-willed daughter.
