Today we bring you the second and final part of Lucky Shot by Jerry Dean.

Previously we saw our heroes, the Human Serella and the Alien Vermeian, Kai, crash landing on a planet during

a battle between their races.

They slowly find that they both have a similar need to stay alive and that cooperation will benefit both of them.

Lucky shot was first published in the desolate Places anthology and also appeared in the collection Life Without Crows.
