A lot has changed in the world in recent years, but when you ask some on which country has

the most fearsome, well-equipped military on Earth, the answer isn't changed.

It's still the U.S. and it's not particularly close, which is why you know the situation

is bad in the country when Americans have to flee an embassy.

Remember a foreign embassy is still American sovereign soil, defended by the U.S. military.
