This was a great interview with someone who has a finger on the pulse of the crypto market. I would also like to add she and I were on stage at Freedomfest in July with a debate of gold vs bitcoin. It was definitely was the surprise (not to us) hit of the conference.

0:21.6	Doing really, really well, a little bit tired from last week's conference in Miami, the biggest
0:25.8	Bitcoin conference in history, but recovering well. And thanks for having me, Kirk.
0:30.9	Yeah, sure. Well, we'll get into that in a second. So Erica, tell us a little about your background
0:34.4	and what you're doing now and how you relate to the Bitcoin space. Yeah, sure. So I got into Bitcoin because I am a liberty lover. I campaigned for Ron Paul
0:41.8	as a young little 19-year-old in his 2012 campaign. It was that being around those minds,
0:47.2	those libertarians, those anarcho-capitalists who really loved freedom, who taught me about this
0:51.9	new form of money that was outside of the control of individual
0:54.9	governments. And from there, I, you know, stuck around for a while, worked in corporate
0:59.9	America in aviation industry. But what happened was I started a meetup group in Miami.
1:06.4	That meetup group grew into me opening up a Bitcoin Center in Miami. At this Bitcoin Center, we've
1:11.8	educated so many government officials in the city, including the mayor, including the downtown
1:16.8	development authority, the Beacon Council, the different chambers of commerce. This is kind of why I think
1:21.8	Miami is becoming a crypto city because me and my crew here have been telling people about Bitcoin
1:26.5	for so long that it's nothing new to them.
1:29.4	Unfortunately, because of coronavirus, we had to close our doors to the Bitcoin Center.
