Hey guys welcome to episode 42 of the J. V club with Aaron Hayes. I want to

over pronounce the second end in her name with Arrenin Hayes from Children's Hospital and many other wonderful programs and

films. We had a delightful time together. I gotta be honest with you, it feels like

that recording happened two to three months ago.

In fact, it was just a couple of weeks ago,

but it has been a wonderful holiday break.

Although I felt very strange about an episode not airing last week and I apologize for those of you

who I mean I don't want to say I ruined your Christmas but I think it's entirely possible

many of you are still inconsolable about an episode not coming out. I hope that this does the

trick. I hope you get your fix and I need to apologize.

Everybody knows I love apologizing for things.

I need to apologize because for the first 10 minutes recording this episode with Aaron,

I don't know what happened if like my knee

bonked against the microphone or my faithful duet apogee mixer or what or maybe

a dog did it but I

Aaron was so blown out and so loud for the first 10 minutes and and I'm and I'm at a normal level and I did finally realize what was going on like 10 minutes in but at the beginning it's a little bit it might be a little bit hard to get through and as if to make matters worse we're talking about really sensitive stuff because we recorded the day after the shooting in Connecticut, which is just one of the worst things that's ever happened in the history of the United States. So there's some talk about that.

Something that we were both kind of processing,

and I hope we handled it sensibly,

and I hope it's okay, too you know we moved on from that and had a

pleasant chat. No disrespect to the events in question. I hope that if any of you were touched by that in a

personal way that you are that you're getting by and that everyone who's

listening is celebrating a good new year and that this finds you happy and
