Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!

My guest today is going to get into some very controversial topics and I thought it

would be important for me to just talk about it before we get into this conversation.

I'm a free speech absolutist, I wanted to hear what she had to say.

My only regret is that I didn't push back towards the end of the conversation you'll see

where she characterizes her daughter's transgender experience as related to a mental illness.

And in my feeling on this is, okay, if that's true, I'm not taking a position on it.

What's wrong then when treating that mental illness with other transformative therapies

if we end up in a better place for the patient?

I certainly have many transgender individuals in my life.

I'm clear they've made the right choices for them whether it is surgery or hormone blockers
