0:27.3	tell me, well, tell us, who are you? And how did you come to write this book?
0:31.4	Oh, who am I? Yeah, good question. Yeah, who are you? Exactly. That's a big one to start off with.
0:37.1	I'm Eric, Eric Jamper Anderson, and I am the author of Unseen Beings. How we
0:43.0	forgot the world is more than human. I find it very difficult to, as I was telling you
0:48.5	minutes ago, I have very poor elevator speech for myself because I've got meandered down a lot
0:54.6	of different paths in my life, and I tend to do a lot of things at once. I'm classically trained
1:00.0	as a Tibetan medicine practitioner, which is sort of, you know, what I have on paper as the thing
1:06.2	that I sort of identify with most directly, but I do a lot of research and more sort of scholastic
1:13.2	work in a lot of fields. I study history, specifically, particularly environmental history, and my
1:19.6	research really focuses on the intersection between health, ecology, and mythology, as well as
1:25.6	religion and spirituality more broadly. So that's really sort of my primary focus at the moment,
1:32.0	and yeah, I'm thrilled to be here with you today. Thanks for sitting down with me to have a
1:36.5	chat about this book. Thank you for being here with me. So, Eric, the title Unseen Beings. Tell me
1:42.2	about that. Yeah, so the title, the title is intentionally a bit deceptive, and you know, I think
1:49.7	a lot of folks see it, at least without the subtitle, and assume it's about like ghosts and spirits,
1:55.2	and you know, sort of supernatural beings, with supernatural really being the key point there.
2:00.9	But an unseen being, there are certainly some of those beings in this book to be fair. It does have
2:06.5	spirits, and I talk about gods, and I talk about demons, and I talk about the devil, I talk about
2:11.6	all kinds of different, you know, so-called, kind of supernatural beings. But really, the unseen
