According to Axios, Senate Majority Leader John Thune expects to start voting Friday on

President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, he told Axios.

This would have them voting into the weekend and it would up in the House's recess next week.

Dune is confident Congress will meet itself-imposed July 4th deadline to get the bill to Trump's desk.

Dune huddled with Mike Johnson on Tuesday morning.

Minutes before the meeting, Dune told Axios he hadn't chatted with Johnson recently

about the bill, saying we've kind of had our noses to the grindstone.
