Summary

Episode 74 with Erica Saum.

"My latest hyperfixation is candle-making. But before that, it was playing the ukulele. I learned it in a week and was like, I’m done."

Erica is a teacher based in Nashville, Tenn. She considers herself a witch woman filled with love, warmth, and a love for personal growth. She is a writer for her own ADHD blog, called Unseen ADHD, she’s a photographer with her business Lavender and Lynne Portraiture, and a candlemaker for her witchy business.

Erica was diagnosed with ADHD in 2021, and like many of us, it has been an overwhelming journey of self-discovery. We talk all about the grief and resentment that can come after a diagnosis and the need to forgive the adults in our life like our parents and teachers for not seeing the signs.

We also talk about hobby hopping, hyperfixations, the Enneagram test, leaving the church and the search for community and belonging. I loved this interview and I hope you do, too!
