All right, 3, 2, 1. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on tonight show. I have a very special guest. His name is Eric Reynolds. He and I had a long conversation before tonight. Today is Friday, September 6th. We talked about his involvement in a very important and very current case commonly known as the Central Park

5 case that took place in New York City in April 19th, 1989 and we are going to cover a lot of

material here and this Eric has a very important first-person

perspective in the situation of what really happened in that case. And he's going to talk about

that and provide us with some very important overlooked facts. So, Eric, are you there?

Well, I'm just delighted that you agreed to the interview and that we spent a lot of time talking

about this, what you called a saga, which is I think absolutely an appropriate term for the

Central Park 5 criminal case that really is still current.

For me, I drive, I'm in LA and here there's all these billboards with this as when they see us,

a documentary that's on Netflix with statements like it's a masterpiece, 15 Emmy Awards or all these kind of awards

that are allotted on this.

And there's definitely a lot more to that story.

So for people who don't know your name, can you talk about how you, you know, you're

working for the NYPD and what start you were really the arresting our officer there

are pictures of you with members of what became known as the Central Park five which is something

of a misnomer because there were so many other arrests that took place that night but of course

you can add a lot more information to that so if you could just talk about the case from the

beginning that would be great thank you okay well add a lot more information to that. So if you could just talk about the case from the beginning,
