Summary

It's national hot dog day.  No, not officially.  We just declared it as such, because today we have the president of the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council.  It's a thing, apparently.  It's summer, which means everyone is grilling hot dogs and burgers.  Note that we specifically say grilling.  If you're doing anything else you're insulting the meat.  Eric is too polite to say it, but we aren't.
