Hi guys, today I've got a very special interview with Eric Mataxis. So he's the number one

New York Times bestselling author. He's also a speaker and conservative radio show host. He's

written biographies on Christian Giants, like William Wilberforce, Martin Luther and Dietrich

Bonhoeffer. Actually, the Dietrich Bonhoeffer book is on our book list. The 100 books every modern

Christian man should read lists. It's an incredibly, incredibly important book. He's also written

some comedy books, some children's books. And he even wrote a script for veggie tales, which I found

out. But he's got a new book out this week. If you're listening to this on time, it came out Tuesday.

It's called is atheism dead. So this book is basically in response to what has been happening

in the culture since the 60s, specifically since the 1966 time magazine article or time magazine cover,

which basically asked is God dead. And this book is a tremendous breakdown of a lot of the things

that we've just taken for granted in this more secularized culture that we live in. And we dig in

to a lot of those things. Now guys, we didn't have a lot of time in this interview because he was in

between interviews. This is release week. So we're just lucky that we even got to spend some time

with him. We feel very, very thankful for that. But this guy, you're going to be shocked or maybe not

shocked. A lot of the things that he said in his interview, just kind of off the cuff are things

that we talk about here all the time on this program. Okay. I absolutely love my time with Eric

Metaxas. We're going to be getting into more things later on. We're going to have him on so we can

have a more proper kind of long form interview and dig in a little bit more. But guys, I'm not going
