What happened to you as a tourist or while on vacation, 206, 803 Rock?

Yeah, about 10 years ago, my son was 8 years old, and we were down on vacation with the family and Play-Ele-Carman.

And we were going on a tour down to the ruins in Palum,

and there's a highway you got across, and my wife was paying for the taxi.

My son and I crossed halfway across.

We were waiting on the sidewalk and the median for them to come join us,

and the speed limit was 50 miles an hour, and there was a crash at the intersection,

and one of the cars just took me and my son clean off the sidewalk.

Oh, wow.

Yeah, we both went flying.

I flew into oncoming traffic.

He flew into the grass median.

Luckily, the cars that were coming managed to avoid hitting me. And we both got up and walked

away with just bumps and bruises. We were completely lucky. I mean, as far as that kind of

let go, sure, man. What's the aftermath of that? Do you hang up for a police report or are they just kind of like, yeah, you're fine? Well, that's what was so impressive. If that happened in the United States, there wouldn't have been a damn person that would have stopped. I mean, in Mexico, everybody stopped. Everybody tried to help us. There was people at the tour center that was across the highway. They came over, brought us first aid,

brought us water. The ambulance showed up, like, almost immediately. And we denied care because I'm a firefighter EMT, and I could tell that neither one of us were hurt seriously. And so I

just did first aid on my son's cuts on his leg and, you know, thanked him and stuff.

And we left.
