So before I get into the conversation I want to have with you, I do want to get your reaction to the murder of our Washington Post opinions, colleague

Jamal Keshoji. How damaging is the administration's reaction to America's standing in the world?

And how damaging is it to our institutions at home? Well, I'd say that the reaction of the administration

so far has been distressing, to not come out

in a more forceful way against that which I think everybody could see from the beginning was a

murder and has now been admitted to have been a murder. We'll have to see, you know, what the

investigation actually shows who ultimately is responsible, who's held

responsible for it, but I think the administration's response has not been as

fulsome as it needed to be.
