| 1:07.6 | last quarter century in the area of school finance, particularly the role of the courts. |
| 1:14.0 | And as a non-specialist in the economics of education, my presumption was that most |
| 1:21.6 | schools get their money from property taxes and that school expenditures at a particular |
| 1:28.2 | school district are going to be a function of partially, mostly a function of its property |
| 1:33.0 | tax base. |
| 1:34.0 | So, wealthier school districts spend more, poorer school districts are going to spend less, |
| 1:40.0 | and that's going to create some inequities. |
