We have the pleasure of sitting down with general manager Eric DeCasta to break down the

2024 NFL draft. So Eric, we know how much you loved all the Ravens picks because

you didn't make any trades. So you had to love the player.

First time as GM that you didn't trade back at all in the draft or trade back into the draft.

So we heard from David Blackburn and we heard from Harbs.

They kind of answered the question for you whether that bothered you.

But I want to ask you the question, let you speak for yourself. How much did not

making a trade bother you during the draft? You know, I just, I'm trying to make the team better,

right? And so there's a lot of different ways to do that. Some years you make trades. For me,

it always depends on who's available, who might be available, what can we get from making a trade?

And is it worth, you know, moving away from a really good player?

And this year looking at the board, it was like,

nah, these guys are really good football players.

They make us better from day one.

Let's just make our picks.

Yeah.

But I feel like, you know, it's kind of like when I see a discount somewhere.

If I don't like buy the discounted thing, I kind of get this like itch. It kind of just like, ooh, gives me this hebe-jeebies. You don't get that feeling though. You know, a long time ago

when, uh, you know, I was a young aspiring scout and I was trying to decorate my small apartment

on Light Street, which was down there in Fed Hill, right over there by Sam's Bagels, which I don't even know

if it exists in it.
