The Hardman podcast was founded in May of 2020 with the mission of bringing biblical masculinity to a world of softness.

For over five years now, the project has held true to this mission, engaging with the idols of the culture,

speaking plain truth regardless of the blowbacks, and providing practical advice for

Christian men in the midst of an eroding Western civilization. The man who started this project

goes by many names and carries many titles. Executive pastor, CEO, husband, father, Leroy

Jenkins, the commissioner, and our favorite, the Wallachian Prince himself,

Vlad the Impaler. We think Vlad is particularly fitting because he was a man who knew the stakes.

Vlad understood that wielding power is more than exerting force. It's myth, reputation, bravery,

an unyielding resolve.

Vlad's reign was ruthless, yet effective.

A rain built on fearlessness and spectacle for the defense of his people in homeland against

the onslaught of the Mohammedan hordes.

In our day, we need leaders who are willing to be hated and called names.

We need men who know the stakes and are willing to take action and speak the truth.

We also need men who can operate as generals.

Leaders who can train and call up officers and then deploy them well.

Men that believe and execute on the true principle that there is no fixed pie of glory.

Leaders who are proud to see their friends and

comrades win. Without these high-quality leaders, our mission will fail. If the mission cannot be

effectively handed down to the next generation, if we are unwilling to train and call up men to

stand with us in the gate, then the mission dies with us. The mission of the Hard Men podcast
