All right everybody, conversation continues.

We're sitting there drinking Buffalo, Bill, Cody, beer when I say we, I'm talking with

Eric Bischoff. He was right in the middle of the store. We cut off on Tuesday's edition of the Steve Austin show Cliffhanger.

You're there talking about how to make W.C.W. being able to compete with W.W. at the time and

how you were able to get that job.

Yeah, I mean it was a couple different things. the time and how you were able to get that job.

Yeah, I mean, it was a couple different things.

It wasn't one vision, but it was, number one, you know, we were perceived to be very southern

and very regional, we had to overcome that stigma.

And that meant we had to change the number of things.

Graphics, just the visual look of the show, it had to be a little slicker. Prior to that,

Bill Watts was going to go the other way. Pull back the ring mats, go old school, make it look like a little TV studio.

And we did pull those ring mats back.

And all of a sudden, when you start falling on concrete and you talk about bullshit, I mean,

I'll say that because that's what it was man when you go

crash now side and ring you need a little bit of patent to keep your ass safe so

none of the boys like that and the product suffered as a result of it

it looked like hell it did so So my approach was let's go
