We're sitting there drinking Buffalo Bill Cody beer when I say we I'm talking with Eric Micheal.

He was right in the middle of the store we cut off on Tuesday's edition of the Steve Austin show Cliff hangar.

You're there talking about how to make WCW be enabled to compete with WWF at the time and how you were able to get that job.

Yeah, I mean it was a couple different things it wasn't one vision, but it was number one.

You know we were we were perceived to be very southern very regional.

We had to overcome that stigma and that

mean meant we had to change the number of things graphics.

The visual look of the show it had to be a little slicker.

Prior to that bill watch was going to go the other way pull back the ring mats go old school make it look like a little

little street match back and we did and we did we start falling on concrete and you talk about bullshit.

I mean it was bad say that because that's what it was man when you go crash now side and ring you need a little bit of padding to keep your ass safe.

So none of the boys like that in the product suffer as a result of it look like hell it did.

So my approach was let's go let's raise up the lights.

Let's make the crowd a bigger part of the show.

Let's make the announcer sound a little less southern.

Let's get away from the southern style creative.

Let's give makes less poke poke stuff.

No mummies no hunchbacks.

When you say southern style you think that that that was southern style.
