Today my guest is Momo Vuyasich.

He's the founder and chief science officer at Vio M E.

today's call with Momo so welcome Momo thanks for coming my pleasure

if you would tell me a bit about your background and then how you came to Viole and then we'll go into

Vioam after that.

Well, my background is a science, so I got my PhD in biochemistry, undergraduate degree in

microbiology and I experienced as a young man an autoimmune disease that could not be diagnosed.

It was basically my immune system was hyperactive and it was attacking my own body all over the place

and my body was deteriorating over time slowly.

It was a very slow acting disease, but after a decade, basically my joints were

starting to deteriorate and my soft issues were starting to get really bad. I absolutely was convinced that it had to do something with my diet or lifestyle or some environmental factor. I knew that it was not genetics.

And so I never gave up trying different diets and looking up scientific literature to see what it could be.
