0:16.0	and I'm taking over today to bring you an Equity shot on what you missed at Apple's glow time event.
0:21.0	Apple had a big day, unveiling new iPhones, AirPods, Apple
0:24.4	watches, and more. If you don't have an hour and 40 minutes to devote to
0:27.9	watching the replay of Apple's live stream, we'll try to catch you up in just a
0:31.6	few minutes. We knew from Apple's developer conference in June
0:35.3	that Apple was going all in on AI, like basically every other tech company. As we anticipated,
0:41.6	those features are coming to the new iPhone 16.
0:45.0	In the words of Apple CEO Tim Cook, the iPhone 16 was, quote,
0:49.0	designed for Apple Intelligence from the ground up.
0:52.0	Apple Intelligence is an LLC that will operate more
0:54.5	behind the scenes than in our faces, which,
0:57.0	from a consumer standpoint, means that existing apps
1:00.0	will have new features.
1:01.6	As a photography nerd, I'm excited that Apple is adding a dedicated
1:05.0	camera button to the side of the phone. A lot of digital photographers are already seeing just
1:10.0	how far they can stretch the power of the iPhone's cameras. So any added attention to the
1:15.2	camera system is going to peak my interest. In terms of the literal device, the new iPhone
1:20.8	will be made of aerospace grade aluminum, which might sound like a load of gibberish, but in practice that means the phone's display is 50% more resistant to scratches and drops.
1:32.0	So if you're clumsy, that's a big deal.
1:33.7	Then we have the new Apple Watch Series 10, which brings us the thinnest watch face yet,
1:39.2	and of course, there's AI features in there. The watch will use contextual cues,
