Restraint is called for.

And restraint is one of those things that we've got to learn as we grow and mature and

we're going to talk about that today. I'm John Fuller along with Danny

Werta. You know self-restraint is actually one of the 40 developmental assets from the Search Institute.

It's one of those great assets that we can build on as we become adults.

Describe the assets because our listeners may not have heard about that. Well the Search Institute

spent a lot of money researching 40 assets external like family support the community support

and those things and then internal your

character self-restraint self-control that contribute to how you behave in certain

situations and can either help you or harm you.

So this is, if I'm not mistaken more of these 40 traits

equals a healthier individual.

Is that correct?

That is a very great assumption.

Now, when this is funny, John.

My son had a great observation about the car that I drove.

I had a 97 Honda Civic that I had since 2003,

and I did notice that a lot of the clients, teen clients I had had much nicer cars than mine.
