new details on Jeffrey Epstein's crimes,

and new connections to some prominent leaders. According to Bloomberg News, federal prosecutors

led an 18-month investigation into money laundering alongside the sex crimes investigation,

which of course ended in a plea deal in 2008. Epstein served just 13 months in a county jail where he was allowed to leave almost

every day for 12 hours a day. That deal also gave Epstein and any potential co-conspirators

immunity from further federal prosecution. So the news that prosecutors potentially had more

evidence and could have been able to identify other people who helped

Epstein in his sex trafficking crimes is a pretty big deal. The former U.S. attorney who gave
