of mixed martial arts. Ben, you had UFC on ABC4 over the weekend. Headlined, of course, by the

biggie boy Jarzino Rosenstrike against Jailton Almeida. Almeida wins that one in just three minutes and 43 seconds due to a rear naked choke.

We're going to be talking primarily about that event this week on the co-main event podcast,

but I wanted to start here.

The UFC went down to North Carolina, Charlotte, North Carolina at the Spectrum Center, as we mentioned

last week.

Let me lay this on you.

Now, I don't know if we were doing a WrestleMania 3 style accounting of how many people were there. But that's a lot,

man. And I got to say that it looked pretty full on my television screen. And according to the UFC,

this event was the highest attended UFC fight night event in the United States in the

promotions history. So I guess my question is,

what's really going on? Has absence made the heart grow fonder in the world of the mixed

martial arts fan? What would the UFC stay in home at the apex during the pandemic and

afterward? Are we just, are we just chomping at the bit to get out there

and watch Brian Battle? You know, get an early knockout. Are we dying to see Carl Williams

versus Chase Sherman? Will we watch anything? Are we coming out to watch these things now? Are we

turning out? Because we're so excited?
