Rupert Sheldrake, Ph.D. is a biologist and author of more than eighty-five scientific papers and twelve books, including The Presence of the Past, Science Set Free and Science and Spiritual Practices. He was among the top 100 Global Thought Leaders for 2013, as ranked by the Duttweiler Institute, Zurich, Switzerland's leading think tank.He was a Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge University, a Frank Know Fellow at Harvard, and a Research Fellow of the Royal Society. I wanted to give you an update, kind of on what's going on with Science Mike.

First thing, I am in the final stretch of working on my second book, which is called

You Wondrous You, why you're a miracle and a pain in your ass and it's going to be I hope a wonderful book but I'm in that

terrible stage where it's a slog I am in my office for 8 or 10 hours a day, writing and writing, and every day I walk

out and I feel like the book is no closer to being finished. I think there's parts of it that I love and parts of it that my good friend and editor Derek Reed is going to really, really, really have to give me extensive notes on.

So that's one reason I haven't been doing the podcast is writing the book.
