And so my guest today, have back Mike Bro who was in

episode of underserved who was as you may recall a math major software developer and definitely interested in online poker and live poker as well.

This story is interesting for a number of reasons for technologists. It involves technology from streaming the game to possible

collusion in cheating the game to crowd-sourced investigation of what exactly happened in the game, applying math and statistics

in order to figure out, yeah, it looks like there's cheating that's going on. Now let's try and figure out how it's happening.

A lot of folks play poker in casinos, a common version is no limit to hold them.

And you can play either a cash game where you sit out with money and play and when you get up you just take whatever chips you had off the table, turn it back into cash.

The one that you see on TV more often is tournament where you buy in for X dollars, let's say a hundred bucks,

and everyone plays until someone has all the money and then they win the lion's share

the money.

It's less popular, but there are streamed cash games where you can watch people play no

limit hold them against each other and there's one from a casino in California

that got a lot of attention recently so Mike why don't you walk us through it
