July 17th, 2025. That was the day that I quote unquote officially retired from Location Indy and

Camp Indy, the projects that I had been running for the last 10 years. And of course,

that day is specific because nothing is official until it's actually posted on social media.

And that was the day that I announced that I

was going to stop those two projects and that I was going to enter into the next phase.

Now, like most retired people, I will say the cliche is true. I've never been busier since I

quote unquote retired. And my retirement obviously was always a bit tongue

in cheek. It wasn't that I was never going to work again. It said I was changing gears.

And while it's been quiet on social media and on this podcast since that date, July 17,

2025, we have been working on a ton of different things in real life that I want to provide an

update on in this podcast. And so if you've listened to this podcast before and you've done our

year and review, you know that in the year and review episodes, what we do is we start at a really

high level and we kind of give you an update of our year, and then we get more granular into specific

meals or specific events or experiences that happen. And that's what I want this shorter

episode to serve as right now is an overview of everything that has been happening since July,

and then we're going to touch on those specific events in individual episodes.

And those include things like a failed $5 million real estate project.

I say failed again in quotes.

It includes two new projects that we're working on in two very different parts of the country

that we're equally excited about,

beach and ski mountain.

And it includes a lot of stuff personally with travel in the whole, I guess, emotional,
