Epoch Times was created in 2000 by a group of Chinese-American dissidents and Falun Gong practitioners, who strongly objected to Communist Party propaganda being repeated around the world as independent news.
Their parent company, Epoch Media Group, is now the world's largest independent Chinese language media group. Because they allow no corporate or political sponsors, and focus on delivering the facts without emotions, they have earned a reputation as being an objective source of mainstream news from around the world in all major languages.
