This is a podcast for ladies who are tired of pretending and are ready to be real.

I'm your host, Cameron Brad, and today I'm going to talk about being offended.

Since when has it become acceptable to be offended over

everything? And I'm including myself in that as well. I also get offended really easily.

And I don't know what it is that society now is like, yes, you play that victim card. You say,

like, I've been victimized. And I don't know

if we're being offended more or if we've just become more oversensitive. I don't know.

So it's something that I want to talk about today. I know that I posted something on it a while

back. And some of y'all on the Facebook page posted a video of Father Mike Smiths, which I thought

was brilliant.

He's so great.

But he basically talked about how sometimes people say stuff, and it hurts.

Like he was talking about how, like there was a small group and someone, one of the teens,

there were teenagers, I guess the young adult leading this small group was like,

hey, isn't Father Mike funny? You know, and they're like, I mean, I guess. He's not funny,

funny, but he's like priest funny. And he was like, he totally got offended. And I was like,

no, actually that's true. I'm not like funny like a comedian, but I am really funny for a priest.

And I think the same is true about me. I'm not really funny, funny in real life standards. I'm funny for a priest. No,

no, I'm not. I'm not a priest. So therefore I am not funny like a priest, but I have like crazy,

weird, quirky mom humor. And when I get embarrassed, I make more jokes. And for those of y'all that were up at
