Summary
From the hype-filled streets of sneaker culture comes one of the most bizarre true stories of the year: the rise and explosive fall of Ricky Foster, the man at the center of the viral documentary series The Devil Wears Dunks. Ricky Foster, a Denham Springs, Louisiana local, burst onto the scene as a supposed high-rolling investor and rare Nike collector.
He dazzled sneaker stores, collectors, and enthusiasts with tales of private jets, luxury homes, multi-million-dollar deals, and insider access to ultra-rare Dunks and Nike samples. It all sounded too good to be true… because it was. What started as a routine sneaker transaction quickly unraveled into a web of lies, manipulation, broken families, and shattered trust.
In this episode, Jim Chapman dives into the "Dads of Denham" group Ricky co-founded as well as a botched deal to buy a local restaurant and investigations into charity funds that never made it to their destination.

| 0:00.0 | Hey, everyone, welcome back to Expand Scandalous Viles of the Elite. |
| 0:24.0 | I'm your host, Jim Chapman, and today I am bringing you part two of the series |
| 0:29.4 | Sneakers to Shackles. |
| 0:31.6 | Now, throughout part one of this series, I covered the investigation done by the |
| 0:36.7 | Boys of Echo as it relates to Ricky Foster. |
| 0:40.3 | And I wanted to be sure with that episode that I gave them their flowers, if you will, for the |
| 0:46.9 | hard work that they put in, bringing this story to the public, and following through to the |
| 0:52.4 | point that arrest were made and people were being held |
| 0:56.5 | accountable. |
| 0:57.7 | So going forward, I'm going to touch on some things that they uncovered because you can't |
| 1:01.9 | tell the full story without that information, but it was also my goal with this series to |
| 1:07.9 | answer some of the questions the viewers of the Devil Wears Dunks series had when they watched the show. |
| 1:16.5 | For example, in episode one, I spent a good bit of time on that episode trying to give you an idea of who Jeremy Green was. |
| 1:24.5 | Down here in the bayou, most people had no idea who he was. Moreover, most people |
| 1:30.6 | who watched the documentary from here in Louisiana really didn't have any idea what sneaker |
| 1:36.8 | culture was. If you're not in that sneaker culture, you're not going to understand it unless |
| 1:41.9 | someone explains it to you. So I tried to do just that, |
| 1:45.4 | just fill in some of the gaps for people who were not familiar with Echo, Jeremy Green, |
| 1:50.7 | or sneaker culture, and explain how they crossed paths with Ricky Foster. So from here on |
| 1:57.5 | out, you're going to hear my personal perspective on this case. |
| 2:01.1 | So let's get into it. |
| 2:02.5 | And I'm going to start out by covering where Ricky Foster's name surfaced right here in Denham Springs. |
