Jalen, there's so much going through my head after watching episode two.

Scotty Pippin.

Wow.

Surgery.

Scottie Pippin demanded a trade from the team that had won five championships and

featured the greatest basketball player of all time.

My mind is still reeling from what I just watched.

We're going to shift our focus to episode two, much like the documentary shifted its focus

from the season, 9798 with the Bulls and a little bit about Michael Jordan's background.

But we learned a lot about Scotty Pippen of that Bulls team, not just about what he meant to the Bulls

and what he was going through at the time during that season, but his upbringing in Arkansas, his draft onto the Bulls.

Jalen, why is it so important that we know so much about Scotty Pippen to tell the story of

Michael Jordan in these Bulls?

Well, he was the greatest sidekick of all time.

And as you alluded to, coming from a small college, he was under heralded in a lot of ways.

People were surprised he went high as he did in the draft.

You have to get Jerry Cross a lot of credit for understanding the potential that Scottie Pippen had.

And as he ascended, that's when they went from being a Michael Jordan dominant scoring centric team to a squad
