Summary

In this week's episode, the Stephen Kingcast makes room for the Richard Bachmancast as I examine the 1985 collection of Richard Bachman's previously published works.  As I've done with reviews of other collected works such as Night Shift, Skeleton Crew and Different Seasons, I won't review all of the stories included, and will focus on what I consider the Big Two: The Long Walk and The Running Man. How do the Richard Bachman entries differ from Stephen King's works?  Find out this week in the Richard Bachmancast!

0:51.4

So some of you might have been wondering if that's the case,

0:54.1

and that's the premise of this podcast, then of you might have been wondering if that's the case and that's

0:54.4

the premise of this podcast and why haven't I been reviewing the books that have been coming out

1:00.5

under his pseudonym? Because at this point in publication, he has actually published more than

1:05.7

I've actually been reviewing because he has been publishing this entire time using the alter ego Richard Bachman.

1:12.0

The reason that I have pushed off is because I wanted to wait until the Stephen King

1:15.9

publication, which collects the Bachman books together, into a title called the Bachman Books,

1:23.9

published now in 1985. So it's a little bit of a cheat um if this if i was being a little bit

1:30.5

more pure to the idea uh present within the the the thesis of this podcast then then yes i would

1:37.8
