Hey, Ask Kickers, welcome to another episode of the recovery series on the Yorkicast Life podcast.

And some of you may know, but most of you probably don't.

My father died on Sunday the 16th. I'm currently in

California. I was here one weekend. The days are all kind of running together for me. I was here

for a long weekend when he kind of got really sick and knew I was going to turn around and come

back fairly quickly. He was declining pretty rapidly and was home for five days in North Carolina,

caught on a plane and came back when they told me to come. And I was back home, my hometown of

San Diego, for 24 hours about. And he died on the 16th at 9.02 p.m.

I was there with him.

And it was horrible.

And I hadn't planned on going into a lot of detail in the intro for this podcast.

I will in a future episode tell the story when I'm ready,

probably a few months from now. And I think I just wanted to say a couple of things about it
