Is depression funny? Oh, that's right. I don't really have a guess this time per se. So I get to answer

that one myself. Yes, depression is funny in the same way that a sewer rat driving a car is funny.

It's gross and smelly and it's not going to take care of the car. The car is headed straight

for a tree. It's a big disaster. But then again, you know, it's a rat driving a car. So that's kind

During the month of March 2017, our show along with many podcasts and public radio organizations

is celebrating something called tripod. No, not the thing you put a camera on. This tripod is spelled

with a Y-T-R-Y pod. It's clever wordplay. Those two words, of course, sound identical to the ears,

but they're spelled differently and they mean different things. So it's very, very complicated.

I think it's meant more for social media. Hashtag tripod. That's what you're supposed to use. That's

what I want you to use because it's an effort to get people to try pod. As in podcasts, try them,

give them a shot. We're really hoping that people try them who've never tried them before.

So what you might want to do is find some podcasts that you like. Doesn't have to be this one,

can be this one, but all sorts of podcasts that you like. Then suggest them to a friend using that

hashtag tripod. Maybe you can help somebody who never listens to podcasts finally get into the whole

spirit of the thing, teach them how to download them, that kind of thing. Hashtag tripod.
