Hello heroes and welcome to campaign. I'm James Damato. And I really actually don't know how to start this.

As some of you may have seen earlier this week we announced that Cat Cool is going to be moving on from her position at one shot. You can read more about that on the one shot site.

I know the future of campaign is a huge immediate concern for a lot of people, so I'm going to address that here.

Before anyone starts to freak out, I want to assure you that campaign is not going to end.

But it will change.

I want to start by saying, I love this game.

This has been the longest running RPG campaign that I have ever played in in all my years of gaming.

And I truly love these characters. Like many of you, I listen to old episodes of campaign when I'm feeling down or when I'm feeling alone,

and they make me feel better. Because I love the cast like I love my family.

And a huge part of that is Kat Cool and what she brought to the table as

our GM. Trist, Bacta, and Leinek are interesting and fun characters because of

characters like Tamlin, Ava, and Lynn. We are all part of campaign, but this story,

the Star Wars story starring our favorite boys from the Mynock, is Cats.

For that reason, I'm not going to be ending Cats campaign by taking over as GM or creating my own way for the story to come to an end.

Anything resolving this campaign done without Kat wouldn't feel right.

But Johnny, JPC, and I have discussed it, and we love playing together,

and we still want to do campaign.

Partially because we love entertaining all of you.

Our listeners have collaborated with us on campaign by contributing enthusiasm and creativity

by making the fandom a nice place to be.

And that's something that we want to keep going.

Thankfully, we have enough material recorded with Cat as the GM that we can bring the story to a sort of natural
